The new module in the Diploma in Theology programme will begin soon, and is

Pastoral Epistles

A verse-by-verse study of the books of 1 Timothy, Titus, and 2 Timothy, which are packed with practical instruction on Church life and organisation.

After two thousand years of accumulated church traditions, what has been lost or obscured from God’s original intention?  Just how was the New Testament church organised?  How should the church be organised today?  Are we on track?  What insights and understanding can we gain from the matured wisdom of the Apostle Paul’s final letters?  If you are interested in the answers to these questions, then this module is for you!

Topics include:

  • What are the priorities?
  • Elders and deacons: who they are and where they fit
  • The place of women in ministry
  • How to set things in order
  • The importance of sound doctrine
  • How to survive for the long haul

“Pastoral Epistles” will begin on Monday September 4th and continue on most Monday nights until November 13th

(9 sessions in all)

The instructor is George Alexander

The sessions run from 7.30 until 10.00 p.m.
